This adorable Jester Boy is the 2nd in the line up of Boy cards for my Build a Bear Workshop Event. Make sure you are registered because time is running out, deadline is September 10th. This bear was designed by a fellow demonstrator Cynthia De La Cruz. Isn't he just adorable?
The card base is wild wasabi with basic black layered on top with basic black striped ribbon wrapped around it. Then the bottom part of the striped ribbon has real red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon tied around it. The whole outfit is real red & daffodil delight. Each piece is cut in half with the opposite colored glued next to it. The bear is crumb cake. The mask, eyes, nose & mouth are basic black. The mask has just a little bit of whisper white gel pen written on it to make the eyes stand out. The strip of whisper white was printed on a computer then a little early espresso ink was dabbed around the edges. Then it is rolled a little so that it doesn't lay flat on the cardstock (I know this is hard to see from the picture). Look out the rest of the week for the rest of the boy bunch. Then towards the middle of the week the girl bears will start to appear.
I hope you are each enjoying your Labor Day. We are off to watch our older kids march in a local parade. Marching band season is underway. Next weekend is Homecoming for our High School so on Friday I will be posting the bear that I made for my daughter's color guard. Copying as close as possible their outfits.
The Jester Bear is adorable...I don't know how anyone can resist making him :)
