Button Up for Chrismtas

The cards are made exactly the same I just used different shaped buttons out of the candy cane buttons in the Holiday Mini catalog.

The base of the cards is baja breeze. The words are also stamped in baja breeze ink. The stamp is one of the images in Christmas Greeting stamp set. The saying from this stamp set is stamped in baja breeze ink on the inside. Then each of the buttons are glued on with 2 mini glue dots each.
Now wasn't that simple. You know how I love simple & pretty.

The Final Christmas Card Design!

Here it is...the final Christmas Card Design for my Christmas Card Event. Don't forget that registration ends this Sunday (October 24th) for this great Event. If you haven't yet signed up & still want to make sure you let me know ASAP.

This card is made with the stamp set Bells & Boughs. Which is currently part of Stampin' Up's Holiday Bundle Promotion with the designer series paper, Deck the Halls, that is used on this card. Then the whisper white card stock is embossed with plenty a petals embossing folder. The ribbon is always artichoke seam binding. The bells are stamped in Always Artichoke ink & punched out with 1 3/8" circle punch. Then glued to a 1 3/4" cherry cobbler circle punch.
We also will be making a cute gift bag as part of my Holiday Gift Event with this set & Designer Paper. Be on the lookout next week for a picture of it.

But we already know that our son's team will be in the playoffs. We are just waiting till tomorrow night when we find out who we play & where.

The 4th Christmas Card Design

I just absolutely love this stamp set, Got Treats. It pairs up perfectly with our milk carton die too. This card looks so complex but isn't. Those are my favorites. It is all about the layering. This is one of my current favorite color combinations. Cherry Cobbler, Early Espress & Crumb Cake. The gingerbread cookie & the words are stamped on whisper white with early espresso ink. Just love it. Be on the look out toward the end of the week for the final card for my event. Now off to get some paper cut for my event this Saturday. It will be a HOOT of a time.

The next Christmas Card Design

Happy Tuesday Everybody! Yesterday was such a Monday in our house. The kids were home from school but had so much homework to do after our crazy weekend. Plus they still had activities to do plus household chores to catch up on. Now everything is back to it's regularly scheduled craziness. So I had a chance this morning to get my next Christmas Card Design uploaded.

It is an incredibly simple card. The base is confetti white which has been embossed with the snowflake embossing folder from the new holiday mini. Then stamped with the words Merry Christmas in Real Red ink. Christmas Time!

Boy I am just all over the Holidays this week. Here is a short post to show you the next addition to my Christmas Card Event. The winner from my previous cards is the Peace on Earth Card with the glass glitter & the candy cane material. I am pretty sure that I like this card not colored but sometimes I have problems with overly simple cards. I always think "I must add more" and sometimes you just don't.

So the weekend is upon us so I don't think I will have anything else to post over the weekend. Football game tonight. It is our final home game & it's Senior Night. I am saddened to think that next year I will have two seniors...where does the time go? Then tomorrow morning I will be seeing some of you at A Card for Every Season & after that we are off to another Marching Band Competition. Sunday the girls are having some pictures take...I might even share of few next week. The kids are off of school on Monday so trying to run some errands with them. Hopefully on Monday I will at least post a couple of cards from tomorrow's group event. Have a Great Weekend! Go EAGLES!

Continuing with the Christmas Theme

Here are the next two cards that I promised you using the Peaceful Seasons Level 2 Hostess Set.

The first card is made similar to yesterday's cards. The images are from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set but this time I used the Season's Greetings words & the hollyberry leaves. The cardstock base is always artichoke & the images are stamped on very vanilla. The material in these cards is the Deck the Halls material in the Holiday mini. The buttons are matching buttons from the mini.

In this card I used cherry cobbler as the base, didn't tear the cardstock & choose buttons that stuck out more. This card is my second runner up to the similar one yesterday. I am having a hard time picking my favorite. The funny thing is that usually I like torn cards & this time neither of my favorites are the torn cards. Go figure. : ) My problem is really that I can pick between the glass glitter & the buttons. I love love love them both. All comments would be appreciated. One of them has to be the winner.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday. We are unfortunetly headed out of town for a family funeral. So I probably will not have any posts for the next couple of days since I will have limited access to the internet. But look towards the middle of the week when I will post cards from a Card for Every Season.
